*Why Tong Yi show can get me watching day and night*

Yes! I've been chasing after Tong Yi everyday.. Politics always excite people so it's undeniable to find politics in every drama. But what made this show different from other korean, taiwan or chinese dramas is that they don't only display bitter politics or awesome martial arts but also focus on many meaningful values.

1. Wisdom
Knowledge is never-ending. It may not just be found from books, but can be found from every day life. And wisdom, is in fact, our greatest source of survival.

"It's better not to learn at all than to learn w/o pursuing it to the end."
"It's better not to ask at all than to ask w/o finding out the answer."
"It's better not to think than to think w/o attaining knowledge."

2. Sincerity
"Sincerity is the beginning and end of all things. Without sincerity, nothing exist." from Doctrine of the Mean.
We enjoy, appreciate and cherish what we have because we have exhibit sincerity in getting it. If there's no sincerity, if what we have are just given to us and not obtained by our own hands, nothing will last because eventually, we will take forgranted what we have.

3. Respect
Respect is not given, it must be earned.

4. Power Irony
Power and status can cover up truth, can make the innocent become criminals and grant you everything that you want. That's the terrifying thing about abusing one's power. But power can buy you neither love nor trust and faith. Hence, in the end, one can get everything that one ever wanted but with a heart of misery and loneliness as it comes at the expense of others. Hence, one will never be able to hold one's head high.

5. Love
Love comes with no conditions for conditions is what kills love in the first place.

6. Patience
Sometimes, to get what we desire in life, we just need a little patience and faith.
