I looked back, and I know I spent those years well! =)
A few years ago, I stepped into the University and felt like it's home. It was the campus life that attracted me so I made my choice.
My first memorable activity in Uni was the Freshmen Orientation Camp. That was where the fun begins! I was unleashed into a world of enthusiasm as our bizad seniors showed us what is meant by campus life. I also met a clique of friends in my OG who lasted till now! And most of the other friends I met at the camp still kept in touch with each other. It was really memorable.. Freshmen orientation projects are those activities you can't miss as an undergrad! Oweek, Rag, Jam and Hop, Dinner and Dance etc. My first faculty dinner was dean's evening and my last was commencement dinner. Nice indeed!
Year 1 academic life started out as abit of struggle. I still remember my very first class was Business Law where a lecture class of about 50 students turned out to be stressful as students participated vigorously in class. I was like "gosh I haven't even bought the textbook and ppl are answering questions from textbook readings already". That was when I first started to learn the importance of class participation in Uni. As a student who had always feared public speaking, this served as a great challenge. But I was reminded of my oral presentation achievement in JC where I took a month to improve my presentation skills to 'exceeding expectation' for the graded project work & I was motivated to overcome this challenge. I thought: "After all, presentation is one thing no business students can avoid. If I don't improve myself while practicing as a student, I nv will have anymore chance as I will only be embarrassing myself in the corporate world." So, this was one thing tt left a deep impression with me.
Besides that, seeing myself as part of the bizad family, I was really excited to be involved! The first official executive committee I participated in (not those junior com counselors etc.) was as a Program Director for the NUS Punkinus Bash. That was when I also expanded my network of friends and met even more fun and loving people who left deep impressions & fond memories with me. =) Subsequently after the first year, I picked up even more roles in several Freshmen Orientation Projects executive committees and had the greatest fun organizing them. There were stressful times of coz but those were rewarded with successful outcomes and innovative changes initiated. Looking back, I spent some of my best time of Uni life organizing all these activities!
Moving to more senior years, I lessen my participation in faculty organizing committees as the modules get tougher.. >.< Had some of the most stressful modules during these years with some of the most interesting ones as well. During the holidays, I started interning too and turned to my interest such as fencing, skating and dance. Moreover this period also marked my achievement in public speaking for being the Emcee for the Faculty's student exchange orientation program, hosted to about 100 over international students. I also went on local exchange (to slack) and finished my super heavy and tough final year project. =)
Tough as it was, Fun as it was, these were the greatest years of my life!
Thank you & well wishes to all the people who have come into my life these years. Family, Friends, Professors and so on, you had made a difference somehow..
Do you belief in Destiny? I do. And not just fated destiny, but a destiny created by our own hands. Life is given to us by our parents, be grateful for that. But life experience can never be given to anyone. It is created by ourselves, each choice we make leads us to our destiny.
I look forward to the next phrase of my life!

A fren once told me before tt we shld control our feelings and emotions ourselves, and not let it be controlled by other things like ppl or music.
But for me, music (no lyrics, just soothing instrumental/soundtracks) is like my shelter. It's like an immediate medicine to when I'm feeling down or upset. Nothing works better than tt.. It calms my heart & soul in less than 5 minutes. It reminds me of hope.
Second up is the smile of an innocent child, tt can make me realise the world still has its innocence and we just need to be a little patient with things ard us.
