Having finally gotten down to John Gray's book, it enforced my understanding in something~
Men and Women can be sooo different, and we totally deserve to be different. There is nothing to worry about whether there is anything wrong with ourselves. And there's probably nothing wrong with your partners too. Moreover, it's not possible to find someone who can read ur mind or understand your behavior as that would mean marrying a clone of yourself. In fact, accepting and understanding differences & building on the strengths of each party, is what would make a lasting and happy r/s.
A simple difference as ...when a woman complains about a problem, she isn't necessarily blaming him and demanding a solution, instead, she is just letting go of her frustrations by talking about them...or that men may just go into their caves to solve their problems alone...a woman's sense of insecurity when things are made uncertain to her...or a man giving up when he does not understand what went wrong and how it can be fixed...All these can matter a lot over time if it remains unknown & unresolved...
Whatever it is, having hope & faith is very important in our complicated world today to keep us going. Always remember that the beauty of experience is that it always give the test first and the lesson later. So as long as you grew stronger & more mature after every experience, life is worth going through all the odds.
"Respect is not to be taken forgranted. It must be earned first through trust."
